100 Ways in 100 Days Acts of Kindness

The Rotary Club of Redondo Beach Presents

Student Film Prize!

Show Us Your Kindness!

Calling all South Bay high school students! It's time to get creative and share your story in our exciting South Bay High School Film Contest! This year's theme is all about Kindness—and we want to see how you bring it to life. Whether it's kindness to the environment, standing up against bullying, embracing self-love, or showing compassion to others, the possibilities are endless! Let your imagination run wild and show us how you define kindness in your world.

The Kindness Student Film Contest is open exclusively to current high school students enrolled in schools within Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Gardena, Lawndale, or Palos Verdes. All submitted films must be original works that incorporate the theme of kindness in some manner. We recommend that films be between 3 and 5 minutes in length, with an absolute maximum of 8 minutes. Films that do not meet these guidelines or fail to include the essential element of kindness are subject to disqualification.

By entering the contest, you grant the organizers permission to post your film on the official website and present it at the film fest scheduled for April 11 in Hermosa Beach. Please note that no compensation will be provided for films that do not win an award. Furthermore, any submissions found to include plagiarized or unauthorized material will be disqualified. The decisions of the judges are final. We look forward to celebrating creativity and kindness through your inspiring films.
